Detailed Itinerary of 10 Days Tanzania Wildlife & Uganda Primate Safari
Day1: Arrival in Arusha
On arrival in Tanzania at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative – your driver-guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see is an impressive Tanzania safari destination. En-route you will visit a Maasai Boma where you will get a chance to the Maasai performing their traditional dances.
Enjoy en-route lunch and when you arrive in the park, have a short game drive as you head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3&4: Explore Serengeti National Park
Spend two full day exploring Serengeti National Park. Wake up early to enjoy an early morning game drive. At sunrise, you may encounter many animals grazing in the beautiful light of sunrise and predators may still be busy hunting before retiring to rest for the day.
You will have an opportunity to return to your lodge for lunch or enjoy picnic lunch at one of various picnic sites found in the Serengeti. Continue on a game drive exploring the park more and enjoying sightings of lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes among others. At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Fly to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport for your flight to Entebbe. On landing at Entebbe International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by our driver guide and transferred to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will be collected by your driver-guide and leave for Kibale Forest National Park – the primate capital of primates. The drive takes you through the countryside arriving at your lodge in the afternoon, enjoy lunch and spend the rest of the day at rest, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park head headquarters for briefing before heading into the forest looking for chimpanzees. Your experienced range guide will lead you the tropical forest for an unforgettable and rewarding primate experience, searching or our closest relatives – the chimpanzees
When you locate them, you will have one hour of staying in their presence before you start the hike out of the forest, back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, check out of your lodge and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, along the way you will enjoy sights of rural and semi-urban Uganda with several fruit and vegetable markets along the roads, crafts and drum markers and have a stop at Uganda’s Equator monument where you will cross to the southern hemispheres.
Enjoy lunch along the way and when you arrive at your lodge, check in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
You will be picked up by your driver-guide after breakfast and transfer to the briefing point at 7 am. Here a senior ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow while in the presence of gorillas, then enter into the forest in groups of 8 people searching for mountain gorillas. The trek takes approximately 2 to 5 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night.
Once you locate the gorilla troop you will spend one hour in their presence watching them play, feed and groom each other, all while keeping a safe distance of 8 meters.
Trek back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded with gorilla trekking certificates and return to your lodge for an evening of rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, you will embark on a journey back to Entebbe where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport to catch your flight back home or to your next destination.
