Detailed Itinerary of 9 Days Tanzania and Kenya Safari
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Amboseli National Park.
After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi or on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative – your driver – guide. After a short briefing about the safari and what to expect, you will embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park with a stop for lunch along the way.
When you arrive in the park, you will have a short game drive as you head to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will return to the park for another game drive, keep an eye out for wildlife such as large herds of elephants, lions, buffaloes, gazelles among others. As the sunsets, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Guided walking safari in Amboseli, transfer to Arusha.
After a delicious breakfast, head out for a guided walking safari in the scenic Amboseli National Park for chance to get up close encounter with nature and wildlife, including long-tusked elephants. After this exhilarating experience, embark on a journey to Arusha with border crossing at Namanga Border. With a Tanzania safari guide, you will continue to Arusha where you will spend the night.

Day 3: Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast, be picked up by your driver guide and drive to Tarangire National Park, the most scenic park in Tanzania famous for large herds of elephants and the massive, towering baobab trees. Go on a game drive in search for various wildlife species, including buffalo, zebras, lions, leopards, and elephants.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch and continue with the game drive till evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro crater drive & walking safari
After an early breakfast at the lodge, head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Lookout for several wildlife species including kudu, zebras, impalas, gazelles, hippos, antelopes, lions, buffaloes, rhinos and cheetahs. You will also visit Lake Magadi in the crater, where you will observe several bird species including flamingoes along the crater’s edge.
After lunch, you will go on a walking safari tour in the Ngorongoro Crater rim. With an armed ranger, you will enjoy up-close encounter with nature and wildlife including antelopes, zebras. At sunset, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and journey to Serengeti National Park with a stop for lunch and scenic views of the Ngorongoro Highlands. When you arrive in the park, go for a game drive as you head to your lodge, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 & 7: Serengeti National Park – Full Day
Spend these two days on a safari in Serengeti National Park. Your day begins with an early morning game drive around the endless plains of Serengeti National Park, during which you will search for various wildlife species, including kudu, giraffes, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and wildebeest. Following your early morning game drive, you will enjoy picnic lunch. Then go on a game drive in the afternoon during which you will look for various wildlife species calling Serengeti home with a possibility of witnessing the Great Migration and the Mara River Crossing. At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve
After an early breakfast, embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Reserve with border crossing at Isebania Border, change into our Kenya safari vehicle and with a Kenya guide, continue with your journey to Masai Mara National Reserve with en-route lunch.
Arrive in the reserve in the afternoon and with en-route game drive, you will have a short game drive as you head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Travel to Nairobi.
Wake up early for breakfast and go for an early morning game drive in the plains of Masai Mara, this is the best time to see predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs and other wildlife species like buffaloes, elephants, giraffes among others.
Afterwards, you will bid farewell to Masai Mara National Reserve and embark on a journey to Nairobi for drop-off at the airport with enroute lunch.
