This 6 Days Serengeti Migration Safari is designed specifically focusing on witness the Serengeti Migration with chances of witness the Mara River crossing, and enjoy incredible sightings of the famous Big Five – lion, leopard, cape buffaloes, rhinos and elephants.
This Serengeti Migration Safari focuses on both the Lobo Area (Northern Area of Serengeti National Park) and Wagakuria Area ( a remote northern region of Serengeti) where the majority of the wildebeest migration can be found around Mid-July to October. During this period, the migrating herds take over the Grumeti River, then head further north and start crossing the Mara River – their biggest hurdle in July or August.

Day 1: Fly to Kogatende Airstrip, Game Drive
On arrival at Kogatende Airstrip in Serengeti National Park, you shall be welcomed by our representative – your driver-guide. He will brief you about the safari and what to expect, then proceed on a game drive in Serengeti’s Mara River Area, looking out for the different wildlife species and chance to spot the much sought after Mara River Crossing of the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Enjoy a game drive, with a picnic lunch stop along the Mara River. Later at sunset, you will drive to your camp for check-in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2, 3, 4&5: Full day in Serengeti National Park (Northern Serengeti)
Spend these four days exploring the Serengeti plains and following the Serengeti Migration.
Your day starts with breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your morning game drive towards the Northern Area of Serengeti National Park, as you following the Great Migration you will also see a variety of wildlife species which are very active during the morning and can be seen grazing around the endless plains of Serengeti. Have a chance to witness the great wildebeest migration crossing at Mara River.
Continue exploring the park on game drive and enjoying sightings of wildlife species grazing in the open savannah of Serengeti National Park. Expect to see herds of elephants, buffaloes, impalas, gazelles, elands, antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs among others.
