Detailed Itinerary of 7 Days Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Safari

Day 1. Arrival

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you shall be picked up and transferred to your hotel of stay in Arusha. Check in, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Ngorongoro, Game Drive, and Guided Walking Safari

After a leisurely breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Ngorongoro with your packed lunch boxes. Enjoy a game drive in the Conservation Area getting acquainted with the area. Later engage in a walking safari, accompanied by a ranger and get close encounter with wildlife and natural setting of Ngorongoro. Also, get to know how to track animals.

After this amazing experience, head to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Visit

Enjoy an early breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater and engage in a game drive as you lookout for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, leopards, wildebeests, hyenas, antelopes and warthogs among others.

Also, you will enjoy amazing views around the Ngorongoro during your game drive and also see flamingoes along the shores of the alkaline lake found in the crater – Lake Magadi. After your game drive, you will return to your lodge, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Drive to Serengeti, Game Drive

After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will be drive to Serengeti National Park. Have lunch at your lodge in the Serengeti and later you will engage in a late afternoon game drive around Serengeti National Park.

You will search for different wildlife species during your game drive such as the Big 5 and many others during your safari. After your game drive, you will be driven to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Explore Serengeti National Park and engage in a game drive as you look for wildlife species like wildebeests, gazelles, lions, leopards, elands, wildebeests, hippos, cheetahs among others. After a full day of exploring, return to your lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast as you prepare for your drive to Arusha from you lodge in Serengeti National Park, enjoying another opportunity to see wildlife species on the way to Arusha where you will be dropped off at the airport in Arusha or hotel of stay, bringing your safari to an end.
