Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara, Game Drive

On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or after breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will be meet by our representative – your driver guide. He will brief you about the safari and embark on a journey to Masai Mara National Park, driving through the Rift Valley Escarpment
and Narok Village for craft shopping. Arrive at your lodge in time for lodge after check-in, have a short and later head out for an afternoon game drive in search for African Big Five like lions, leopards, Rhinos, Elephants, buffaloes and other game. At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara game reserve

Wake up early for breakfast and head out with your packed lunch boxes for a full day game drive in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Explore the reserve on morning and afternoon game drives giving you the opportunity to explore the reserve and spot several animals including lions,
leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, elands among others.Enjoy picnic lunch served at one of the picnic sites along Mara River, continue exploring the reserve and see more animals. At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

Wake up early for breakfast, check out of the lodge as early as 7 am. Drive out of the reserve through the Oloololo Gate in the western part of the reserve to the border of Isebania. After clearing with the park authorities, change into the Tanzania vehicles with a Tanzania guide and
proceed to Serengeti National Park. Enjoy en-route lunch along the way, arrive in the park and with en-route game drive you will drive to your lodge, check-in, relax as you wait for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast at the lodge, head out for a full day game drive with our lunch boxes along the Seronera Area. Enjoy the big game around Seronera River, some of the wildlife to lookout for in this region of Serengeti include lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches and
cheetahs among others. After your game drive, you will proceed to the Visitor Centre where we have our lunch, break open our lunch boxes and enjoy our meals. The Tourist Information Centre offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop. In the evening, we go for a game drive to the Kopjes – the weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. The Kopjes are good hunting grounds for lions especially in dry seasons when most wildlife come to have a dip and drink-in. Look for other animals which we might have missed during the morning game drive. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Departure

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and with your packed lunch, proceed to descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder. Ngorongoro Conservation Area support a vast variety of animals, which included herds of wildebeests, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, zebras, hippos and giant African elephants among others. Other highlights you will see on a game drive in Serengeti National Park are jackals, hyenas, cheetahs, lions and the ever-elusive leopard, which
sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.

Also, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main feature of the crater. A large number of flamingoes, hippos and several water birds can usually have been seen here. Enjoy lunch in the crater floor as you marvel at
the picturesque scenery. Proceed for a transfer to Arusha and be dropped off at the airport for your onward flight. This brings your 5 Days Masai Mara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari.
